Pricing and payouts

How you can charge

• Prices are in US dollars, up to $999 (priceCents 99900). The lowest paid price is a minimum EzyStudio sets, $3 one-time or $3 a month (priceCents 300) unless we change it. A lower price is refused, and the error names the current minimum.
• Paid apps install on the App and Business plans; paid website templates on the Website, App and Business plans; free ones on any plan. In each case, only on the plans you list.
• Each purchase keeps the price it was bought at.
• Changing the price of a live app is an update: it goes through review and is flagged as a price change. If the minimum goes up after your app is live, you can keep your price or raise it, but not lower it.
• If an owner installed your app while it was free and you later make it paid, their install stays free.
• No hidden fees: the price on the listing must be the only price. A percentage fee, or a price inside a free app, fails the pricing check. Other amounts and upsells are flagged, and the reviewer can send the app back for changes.

The split

Every sale, and every monthly payment of a subscription, is split 80% to you and 20% to EzyStudio. The fee is rounded to the nearest cent and the rest is yours. The rate is stored on each sale, so a future change never rewrites your history.

There are no listing fees and no setup fees. EzyStudio handles hosting, payments, customer accounts and payouts.

Refunds

• Buyers can get all their money back for 14 days after a payment, from their billing page. The app is removed from their site; their customers' data stays in their database.
• New earnings are pending for 14 days in case of refunds, then they become available.
• A refund or chargeback reverses the sale. If the money was already paid out, it is taken from your next payout.

Payouts

1. Add your Wise emailOn Payouts, enter the email of your Wise account. We pay every developer through Wise, so you need a Wise account to get paid. Opening one is free.
2. Earn through the monthEach sale shows on your Overview and on the app's Sales tab, pending for 14 days, then available.
3. Get paid on the 15thOn the 15th of each month we pay what was available from the month before to your Wise account. We email you when a payout is scheduled and when it is sent.

The rules

• The minimum payout is $25. Balances under it roll over to the next month.
• No Wise email, no payout: the balance waits until you add one.
• Each payout comes with a statement.
• If a payment can't reach your Wise account, we email you to check your Wise email and send it again.
• A sent payout usually reaches your Wise balance within one or two business days.
• Only people on your team with payout access see earnings and payouts.
